Web Hosted

Drove runs in the cloud and is reached through a web browser. Best where internet is dependable and no local server is needed.
Setup: USD 350.00 once per site
Reliable internet is required for normal browser access.
On-site Mirrored

Drove runs on a server at the site and synchronises with HQ when the link returns. Hardware is purchased separately and belongs to you.

Local work continues during an internet outage and synchronises later.
Add another licensed module for USD 20.00 per site / month.
Farm, slaughter, processing, stock, sales, dairy and HQ can be enabled where each site needs them. Buying and food-safety tools are included.

Hardware remains yours. These indicative USD ranges help with budgeting; we confirm compatibility and quote current supplier cost before purchase.

Barcode-printer estimates are based on current South African retail pricing, converted to USD with a 40% sourcing margin included. Zebra availability is generally better; Datamax Mark II models are legacy units and their final price depends on available stock. You are welcome to use an existing compatible Zebra or Datamax Mark II printer.

The Drove FDMS monthly charge does not apply. Any hardware, subscription or support charged by that provider is paid directly to them. If Drove needs new work to exchange data with their system, we quote that integration before starting. ZIMRA’s virtual-fiscalisation API itself is free; registration and approval are still required before going live.
